Using the App
Can I use my own safety forms?
What if I don't have an internet connection? Is there an offline mode?
All forms are stored locally on the mobile device while in offline mode and are synced with the server once you are able to reconnect to internet service.
If you are using multiple SiteDocs accounts on a single device, just remember to empty the form queue completely before switching accounts.
Is there a smartphone app?
Yes! SiteDocs is available on iPhone and Android.
Which iPad should I buy?
For optimal performance and responsiveness we strongly recommend using the most recent iPad model. You’ll have the best results with an iPad Air2 or iPad Air, or the latest iPad Mini 4.
(We don’t recommend using the first generation iPad Mini or iPad 2.)
Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi with Cellular?
We strongly recommend getting an iPad with Cellular connection so that your iPad is connected and synced to your SiteDocs account as often as possible. SiteDocs will work offline so you can technically get an iPad with wifi only, however we don’t recommend it.
How Much Storage Do I Need?
Your SiteDocs forms can range from less than 1mb to 3mb depending on how many pictures are on each form. Because they will be stored on your iPad you want to make sure there is sufficient space for your documents but typically a 16GB iPad will be plenty.
With 10 GB of free space, you could fit over 3,333 forms that are 3mb in size.

Data & Storage
Where are my files stored? Is my data safe?
All data is stored on redundant data servers securely hosted by Microsoft Azure.
Microsoft says this about their standards: “Azure meets a broad set of international and industry-specific compliance standards, such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 1 and SOC 2, as well as country-specific standards like Australia IRAP, UK G-Cloud, and Singapore MTCS.”
