How We Got COR™ Certified with SiteDocs
My name is Nick and I work at Airmaster Sales, a manufacturing company in Winnipeg, MB, that makes road signs and construction signs. For many of our tenders we are required to have COR™ Certification so when I took on the role of Safety Manager, I knew becoming COR™ Certified would be my next big project. I came across SiteDocs Paperless Safety Management at a Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) tradeshow and I knew immediately I had found a solution and that SiteDocs would be the easiest path to getting COR™ Certified.
We launched SiteDocs a few years ago and it’s made managing our safety program a breeze. All required forms, documents and policies are available in a single app for quick and easy access by all workers. As a Safety Manager, it also saves me a huge amount of time. SiteDocs organizes and stores all our forms as soon as they are signed. When I need to retrieve a form, I can filter by a single form type, like Daily Inspection, and instantly see all Daily Inspections done.
I just completed my COR™ audit and, because of SiteDocs, I was able to find and print all my documents to submit for my internal audit in about 2 days. When the external auditor came by, I simply logged into SiteDocs to show them additional forms and documents, all with just a few clicks. I can’t imagine how long it would have taken to compile all of that paperwork if we were using a paper-based system and digging through filing cabinets. Using SiteDocs definitely made managing our safety program much easier, and simplified the COR™ audit process significantly.
